Discussion with wolfhguy

Maybe this graph is a good place to start the discussion. To me it's more about policy than party. But in general Republicans tend to pass policies that transfer wealth and power to a smaller minority. Which is NOT IMO what the Founding Fathers would have supported. You can talk about republicans and conservatives as two different things but the reality is we get to broadly choose which policies we want by voting for one party or the other. It seems less then a coincidence that increasing income inequality follows after too much "republican policy". The two times in history when we had extremes of inequality were times of Republican policy dominance that ended in the Great Depression and the more recent Great Recession. After FDR's policies were in place income inequality was minimized, property was long and shared and their were no major depressions or recessions.
